UV Security Stamp Ink

Specialist fluorescent stamp ink for discreet marking that becomes clearly visible under suitable UV light. Available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles.

UV security ink is different from ordinary coloured stamp ink. Results vary with the material, ambient light and amount of ink applied.

Normal light

The impression is designed to be much less conspicuous than a conventional coloured mark. Complete invisibility is not guaranteed: a faint tint may remain on some materials or in some lighting.

Under suitable UV light

The fluorescent ink becomes much easier to see when illuminated with a suitable UV or blacklight source. A darker environment can make the effect easier to view.

Use a suitable, dry pad and test first

For the best results, use UV ink with a new, dry, compatible ink pad. Using an old pad may introduce traces of coloured ink and affect the UV result. Apply the ink sparingly, test on unfamiliar surfaces first, and contact Stamp Ninja if you are unsure which stamp or pad to use..

Is UV stamp ink completely invisible?

No. Visibility can vary with lighting, the material and the amount of ink transferred. Test the intended surface before relying on a discreet mark.

What happens when UV light is used?

The ink fluoresces and becomes much easier to see under a suitable UV or blacklight source.

Can I use it in my existing stamp?

Compatibility depends on the stamp body and pad/cartridge. Do not assume every self-inking cartridge can be refilled.

Can I add it to a pad that contains ordinary coloured ink?

A fresh or dedicated compatible pad is preferable because residual coloured ink can contaminate the UV ink.

Does it work on every surface?

No. Absorbency and material affect the result; porous and non-porous surfaces can behave differently.

Which bottle size should I buy?

Choose 30ml for lighter or occasional use, 50ml for regular use, or 100ml for frequent or higher-volume use.

Does it include a UV torch?

No UV torch or lamp is included unless the individual product listing specifically says otherwise.
