Eight genuine COLOP formats

Choose the impression area—not just the stamp body

Select the smallest size that keeps your design clear. Larger areas are better for detailed logos, longer wording and marks that need to be recognised quickly under UV light.

Practical security marking

Where invisible UV stamps earn their keep

Use a discreet mark where visible branding would be distracting, easy to copy or inappropriate.

Asset identification

Discreetly mark equipment, tools, stock and property with an ownership reference.

Document verification

Add a hidden logo, code or control mark to certificates, passes and paperwork.

Events and access

Create a UV-visible entry mark for controlled admission and re-entry checks.

Schools and organisations

Identify books, resources, passes and shared property without an obvious visible mark.

Surface suitability matters

UV stamp ink performs best on absorbent matt paper, card and untreated labels. The impression may remain faintly visible under normal light, and results can vary on coloured, coated, glossy or non-porous materials. Test the intended surface before marking valuable or finished items.

UV stamp questions

Useful answers before you order

Is UV stamp ink completely invisible?

It is designed to be almost invisible under normal light, but a faint tint can remain depending on the material, lighting and amount of ink transferred. Always test the intended surface first.

Which surfaces work best?

Absorbent matt paper, card and untreated labels normally give the most dependable result. Glossy, coated and non-porous surfaces can smudge or behave unpredictably and should be tested before use.

Do I need a UV torch?

Yes. A suitable ultraviolet light is required to reveal and check the impression.

Can I use my own logo or wording?

Yes. Choose a product and use its personalisation options to upload artwork or add the required wording. Simple, bold designs normally reveal more clearly than very fine detail.

Which size should I choose?

Choose the smallest impression area that keeps every important line and logo detail clear. Square Q models suit badges and balanced marks; rectangular C models suit wording and horizontal logos.

Can the UV ink pad be replaced?

Self-inking pads can be replaced or re-inked with the correct compatible UV product. Contact Stamp Ninja with the exact COLOP model before purchasing ink or a replacement pad.

Not sure which UV stamp size will keep your design clear?

Send the artwork and intended use to Stamp Ninja before ordering. We would rather help you choose correctly than sell you the wrong impression area.
