Checked stamp buying guide

Make the checked mark fit your workflow

The right design depends on what was checked, whether you need a handwritten record and how strongly the impression should stand out.

Choose the message first

Use a general Checked design for everyday paperwork. Choose Goods Checked or Goods Checked In for stock handling, and the By and Date layout when the record needs handwritten accountability.

Choose the visual treatment

A border separates the status from surrounding print. Tick designs communicate completion at a glance. The outline version includes a useful blank field for initials, a date or a short reference.

Check the impression size

The collection uses compact rectangular impressions of approximately 45–47 × 18mm. Measure the clear area on a real form, label or goods-in sheet before ordering.

Build it into a real process

A stamp records that a check was made; it does not define what the check includes. Teams should still follow their own inspection, escalation and record-retention procedures.

Five practical ink colours

Black: neutral, familiar and easy to photocopy.
Blue: useful when distinguishing an original mark from black print.
Red: high visibility where the checked status must stand out quickly.
Green: commonly associated with completed or positive actions.
Violet: a distinctive alternative for teams using colour-coded processes.

Use it on suitable surfaces

The standard water-based ink is intended for absorbent matt paper and card. It is not designed for glossy, laminated, coated or non-porous surfaces. Read the Stamp Ink Guide if the surface is uncertain.

  • Press on a firm, flat surface.
  • Use an even downward action.
  • Test once on scrap paper.
  • Store the stamp upright when practical.

Checked stamp FAQs

Can I change the wording on a Checked stamp?

No. These ready-made stamps are supplied with the wording and layout shown in the product gallery. Choose a personalised text stamp if you need different wording.

Which ink colours are available?

The current range offers black, red, blue, green and violet. Choose the required variant on the product page before adding it to your basket.

Do I need a separate ink pad?

No. These are self-inking stamps with an internal ink cartridge, making them convenient for repeated office use.

What surfaces can I stamp?

Use the standard water-based ink on absorbent matt paper and card. It is not suitable for glossy, laminated, coated or non-porous materials.

Which Checked layout should I choose?

Choose the wording that matches the task first. Borders improve separation, ticks are quick to recognise, and the write-in version leaves space for initials, a date or a short reference. Use the product photographs as the final reference.

Does the stamp prove what was checked?

No. It records a checked status on the document or label. Your organisation should define the inspection steps, responsibility and record-keeping requirements behind that mark.
