Picked & Packed stamp buying guide

Choose the record your fulfilment process needs

Start with the stage being marked, then decide whether a simple status, quick visual tick or handwritten By and Date fields provide the right level of accountability.

Picked, Packed or both?

Use Picked to record the stock-selection stage, Packed for the packing stage, or the combined Picked & Packed design when both responsibilities need to appear on one order document.

Choose the level of accountability

Plain wording gives a fast status mark. Tick-led layouts are easy to recognise at a glance. By and Date fields let a team member add identity and timing by hand, supporting traceability where the workflow requires it.

Measure the available space

The range spans compact 43 × 8mm and 45 × 9mm plain marks, a 42 × 10mm tick-led Picked design, and larger 47 × 18mm layouts. Measure a real packing slip, order sheet or pick list before choosing.

Keep the process behind the mark

A stamped status does not confirm the SKU, quantity, condition, address, packaging, label or carrier service. Keep the barcode scans, order-system updates, exception records and checking steps required by your organisation.

Five practical ink colours

Black: neutral, familiar and easy to photocopy.
Blue: useful when distinguishing an original mark from black print.
Red: high visibility where a fulfilment status must stand out quickly.
Green: commonly associated with completed or positive actions.
Violet: a distinctive alternative for teams using colour-coded processes.

Use it on suitable paperwork

Standard water-based ink is intended for absorbent matt paper and card. It is not designed for glossy labels, laminated sheets, coated stock or other non-porous surfaces. Read the Stamp Ink Guide if uncertain.

  • Place paperwork on a firm, flat surface.
  • Press straight down with even pressure.
  • Test once on scrap paper.
  • Allow the impression to dry before stacking sheets.

Need an order number, initials or different fields?

These ready-made impressions are supplied as shown in the product photographs. If your fulfilment process needs a checker field, department, shift, order reference, exception box or different wording, create it with a personalised text stamp.

Picked & Packed stamp FAQs

Can I change the wording on a Picked or Packed stamp?

No. These ready-made stamps are supplied with the wording and layout shown in the product gallery. Choose a personalised text stamp if you need different wording, fields or references.

Which ink colours are available?

The current range offers black, red, blue, green and violet. Choose the required variant on the product page before adding it to your basket.

Do I need a separate ink pad?

No. These are self-inking stamps with an internal ink cartridge, making them convenient for repeated office use.

What surfaces can I stamp?

Use the standard water-based ink on absorbent matt paper and card. It is not suitable for glossy, laminated, coated or non-porous materials.

Which Picked or Packed layout should I choose?

Choose compact plain wording where space is limited, the larger version for stronger visibility, a tick-led layout for quick recognition, or By and Date fields where a staff member must add identity and timing. The combined design records both stages on one document.

Does a Picked or Packed stamp prove the order was checked or sent?

No. It records a workflow status on paperwork. Your order system, barcode scans, checking process, carrier acceptance and tracking remain the appropriate operational records.
