A self-inking stamp contains its ink pad inside the mechanism. Each press makes the impression and then returns the rubber die to the pad, so there is no separate ink pad to carry for normal use.
Choose by the stated impression size, not the outside size of the stamp body. Short names and simple loyalty marks suit compact stamps; addresses, several lines of text and detailed logos normally need more room. If the design looks cramped at its real printed size, move up a size.
Use the shape that best matches the design. Addresses and multi-line wording usually fit a rectangle; compact logos often suit a square; badges, seals and circular branding usually look best on a round stamp.
Choose a text stamp when you only need typed wording such as an address, name or status. Choose a logo stamp when the impression must reproduce your own logo, signature, symbol or supplied artwork. Use the product description and personaliser to confirm what that item accepts.
Yes. Tell us what you want to stamp, the surface you will use and the approximate space available. For logo orders, send the artwork too. The team can then point you towards a suitable shape and impression size.

Open the relevant personalised product and use its customisation button or fields. Enter the wording exactly as it should appear, upload artwork where offered and check the on-screen layout before adding the product to your basket.
Yes. Upload the clearest original file you have. A conventional rubber stamp usually reproduces the design as solid ink and no ink, so colours, gradients, shadows and transparency may need to be converted or simplified.
Original vector artwork is the strongest source because it can be resized cleanly. If the uploader does not accept your vector file, use a large, sharp PNG—ideally with a transparent background—or the highest-quality image available. Avoid screenshots and small social-media images where possible.
Yes. Custom designs are reviewed before manufacture. If the artwork, layout or chosen impression size is likely to prevent a reliable result, Stamp Ninja will contact you before production begins.
Do not use the size shown on your screen as a physical measurement because screens and devices scale content differently. Use the millimetre impression dimensions stated on the product page and treat the preview as a guide to layout, position and proportions.

Standard self-inking stamps use water-based ink designed for absorbent surfaces such as ordinary office paper, envelopes, cardboard and untreated matt card. The surface needs to absorb the ink for a clean, quick-drying impression.
Many standard stamps are offered in black, blue, red, green and violet. The exact colours vary by product, model and stock, so the options shown on the live product page are the ones available for that item.
Standard water-based self-inking ink is not recommended for glossy, laminated, coated or other non-porous surfaces. It can remain wet, smudge or wipe away because the surface does not absorb it. Contact us before ordering if your material is uncertain.
No. Standard office stamp ink is not made for fabric or washing. Choose a product specifically sold as a textile stamp and follow its fabric, drying and wash-care instructions.
A UV security stamp makes an impression intended to be viewed under suitable ultraviolet light rather than normal room light. Use a dedicated UV product and check its product instructions; standard coloured self-inking ink is not the same thing.

Personalised stamps are made to order. Current production targets, order cut-offs and delivery services can change, so check the live announcement bar, delivery information and checkout for the position that applies when you order.
The available services and final charge are shown at checkout after the delivery address and basket value are known. Check the current delivery information for any free-delivery threshold or service-specific terms.
Contact Stamp Ninja immediately with your order number and the change required. Personalised production can begin quickly, so a change or cancellation may not be possible once work has started.
An order confirmation is sent to the email address used at checkout. Dispatch and tracking information depend on the delivery service selected. Check spam or junk folders first, then contact us with your name and order details if an expected message is missing.

Pad life depends on the model, impression coverage, storage and frequency of use. A quality self-inking pad is designed for many impressions. When the print becomes consistently pale or incomplete, it is usually time to fit the correct replacement cartridge rather than replace the whole stamp.
Yes, on most self-inking models the cartridge can be removed and replaced. Match the replacement to the exact make and model printed on the stamp body. Using the correct cartridge helps maintain even ink coverage and a clean fit.
Look for the model reference on the front or side of the stamp body, such as a COLOP or Trodat model number, and match it to the compatibility list on the cartridge product page. Contact us with a clear photo of the stamp if the reference is hard to find.
Store it closed in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight. Remove loose paper fibres gently and avoid solvents or harsh cleaners, which may damage the rubber die or mechanism. Follow the model instructions before taking the stamp apart.

Contact Stamp Ninja promptly with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs where relevant. Keep the product and packaging until the team has reviewed the issue and advised the next step.
Personalised items are made to your specification, so the position can differ from a standard unused product. Check the current Refund Policy and contact Stamp Ninja before sending anything back. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items should always be reported promptly.
Yes. Stamp Ninja supplies businesses, schools, libraries, solicitors, charities and public-sector organisations. Contact the team with the quantities, designs, models and deadline so the most suitable approach can be discussed.
For an existing order, include the order number and the email address used at checkout. For product advice, explain what you need to stamp, the surface, the available space and how often it will be used. Attach artwork or a photo of an existing stamp when that helps identify the right solution.
