COLOP EOS stamps are flash stamps. Your design is made on a COLOP flash machine and the stamp is inked in the same process, so it reaches you pre-inked. COLOP puts it simply: an EOS flash stamp “always makes a perfectly sharp impression”.
How EOS stamps are made
- Made on a flash machine: EOS designs are produced with a COLOP flash machine. COLOP's FS-800 and FS-1200T machines are optimised for the whole EOS range.
- Flash foam: your wording or artwork is flashed onto the stamp's foam. Once the machine lid is closed, the flash process starts automatically.
- Inked as it is made: inking is activated during the flash process, so every EOS stamp is pre-inked.
- Pre-assembled cartridge: the foam sits in a pre-assembled EOS cartridge, and the stamp is finished by clicking it together.
- The right amount of ink: COLOP sets an inking weight for each EOS model, so larger stamps get more ink.

Best on absorbent surfaces
COLOP's flash ink is made for absorbent materials such as paper. If you need to stamp something glossy, coated or plastic, ask us first.
