Find stamps by industry

Different industries repeat different information — but the right choice still comes down to the wording, impression size, surface and real process behind the mark.

Industry examples are starting points. Always confirm your organisation's wording, policy and authority.

01
Start with the task

Use protected names, logos and wording only with permission.

03
Match the material

Paper, coated packaging and textiles need different thinking.

Common tasks and their important checks.

The industry name does not determine the product by itself; the actual task and material do.

Universal selection method

Task, authority, material, readability.

The same four checks work across nearly every industry.

1

Name the repeated task

Start with what must appear again and again: identity, status, date, address, logo or reference.

2

Check policy and material

Confirm the wording is authorised and the surface is compatible with the chosen ink system.

3

Choose for readability

Select a format that keeps the smallest important detail clear during real everyday use.

A useful boundary

A visible stamp mark is not the complete business process.

Approval, verification, clinical action, certification and traceability depend on the authorised person and the organisation's actual records — not the impression alone.

Industry stamp FAQs

Useful principles across every sector.

Choose the physical tool and the operational process together.

Which stamp works for most office paperwork?

A personalised self-inking text stamp is often the most flexible starting point for names, addresses, references and routine wording on absorbent matt paper.

Can the same stamp work on paper, packaging and fabric?

Not reliably. Standard water-based ink is intended for absorbent matt paper and card. Coated packaging, plastic and textiles can require a different product or ink system.

Can I use an employer or organisation logo?

Only when you are authorised to reproduce it. This is particularly important for protected public-sector, NHS, school and corporate branding.

Do status stamps prove that a task was completed?

No. A stamp makes a visible mark. Completion, approval and traceability depend on the real workflow, responsible person and retained records.

Should I choose fixed wording or a custom stamp?

Choose fixed wording only when the displayed phrase exactly matches the approved process. Choose personalised text when your organisation needs its own wording, fields or identifiers.

Where should I start if I still do not know the format?

Use Stamp Finder to identify the impression type, then compare the size and ink guides. Contact Stamp Ninja for product questions where the material or model remains uncertain.

Know the task but not the stamp?
