What is a COLOP EOS stamp?

EOS is COLOP's line of flash stamps. Each stamp's text plate is made in a COLOP flash unit, and inking is activated during that same flash process. The result is a pre-inked stamp: the ink is held inside it, so there's no separate ink pad to buy, store or replace.

COLOP describes the EOS Line as modern, ergonomically designed flash stamps for brilliant, sharp imprints. The handle frames a decorative insert on top, which is the picture you'll see in our product photos.

What makes EOS stand out

  • Sharp impressions: the range is designed for brilliant, sharp imprints, which matters for small lettering, logos and QR codes.
  • Pre-inked: the ink is already in the stamp, so it is ready to use.
  • Comfortable to use: COLOP designs the EOS body to be ergonomic.
  • Recycled plastic: the black EOS bodies are made from 80% recycled plastic.
  • No replacement pads: EOS stamps don't use replacement ink pads. COLOP's quick-start guide covers re-inking instead.
  • A wide choice of shapes and sizes: rectangular, square, round and X-Large formats, up to 89 x 121 mm in COLOP's catalogue.

COLOP's flash ink is made for absorbent materials, so EOS stamps are at their best on paper and uncoated card. If you want to stamp glossy, coated or heavily textured surfaces, ask us first.

The EOS models we sell

What people use EOS stamps for

Names and short references. The compact EOS 10 and EOS 20 suit initials, names, reference numbers and short office wording.

Addresses and business details. The EOS 30, EOS 40 and square EOS Q30 cover return addresses and company details on letters, invoices and parcels. The long, slim EOS 25 fits a company name over a web address on one line each.

Fuller details and logos. The EOS 35, 45, 50, 55 and 60 give you room for a logo beside your address, phone number, email and website.

QR codes. A QR code with text sends people from a bag, flyer or card straight to your website, menu or booking page. Black ink on a smooth, light surface gives the strongest contrast, and it's worth testing the stamped code with your phone on the material you'll use.

Forms and panels. The X-Large EOS 110 to EOS 140 handle approval boxes, goods-in notes, handling instructions and other form-style layouts. COLOP's own catalogue examples for these sizes include revision and approval grids.
